Postcard sent by Bray to Pierre de Margerie on 12th September 1923 asking for his autograph.

Bruno-François-Marie-Pierre Jacquin of Margerie (1861-1942) was a French diplomat.

He graduated in law and returned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1883. He was successively Minister of France in Siam from 1907 to 1909, then in China from 1909 to 1912.

He was Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in August 1914 and received the declaration of war from the German ambassador, Count von Schoen. After the war, he was French ambassador in Brussels from 1919 to 1922, then in Berlin from 1922 to 1931.
