Information request
Picture postcard sent by Bray to The Chief Occupier of the house (as per photo), Llandaff, near Cardiff on 21st April 1904 asking for information to be supplied.
Llandaff is a quiet residential suburb, home to Insole Court, a lavish 19th-century mansion with ornamental gardens. Restored, 12th-century Llandaff Cathedral has a triptych by Dante Gabriel Rossetti and stands by the ruins of the Old Bishop’s Palace. The surrounding Cathedral Green, Llandaff Meadow beside the River Taff, and the quaint High Street lined with local shops and pubs give the area a villagelike feel.
