(18781954)

Australian actress and singer. Born June 13, 1878, in Melbourne, Australia; died Jan 1954; dau. of Thomas Haydon (secretary of Victorian Club); m. George Robey.

Made stage debut in Melbourne in In Honor Bound (1893), followed by Jo, On Change, The Morals of Mayfair, The Grasshopper and Friends, among others; made London debut as Alice in Dandy Dick Whittington (1895), then appeared as Bessie Brent in The Shop Girl; performed in several pantomimes and at various music halls; retired (1902).
