Autograph request

Picture postcard sent by Bray to Sir A. Seale Haslam M.P. on 26th August 1901 requesting his autograph.

Although sent in 1901 it would appear that it was not finally returned (from Derby) on 26th May 1904.

Sir Alfred Seale Haslam (1844-1927) was an engineer and politician. He ran a highly successful refrigeration company and was elected as the Member of Parliament for Newcastle-under-Lyme in 1900. His home was Breadsall Priory, which is now a golf and country club.
